Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Bartender role located in Powell, OH at Scioto Reserve Country Club. The Bartender will prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests in bars, dining areas, and at club events. Daily responsibilities include setting up and breaking down bar stations, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following all safety and responsible service guidelines. The role involves taking orders, processing payments, checking identification as required, and engaging with members in a courteous and professional manner. The Bartender will also restock inventory, assist with event bar service, and collaborate with the food and beverage team to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
Qualifications
Strong beverage knowledge, including basic mixology skills and familiarity with beer, wine, and spirits.Demonstrated customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, remain friendly under pressure, and build positive member rapport.Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience, with attention to accuracy and basic math skills.Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar area, including stocking, labeling, and rotating products.Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with all applicable laws and club policies.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry beverage cases, and work in a fast-paced environment.Previous bartending or food and beverage experience in a club, hotel, or restaurant setting preferred.Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club events and member activities.Current alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain) as required by local regulations.Professional appearance, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to working with team members and leadership.
