Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of banquet dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, quality, and timely execution of banquet offerings.Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate meal service times and maintain smooth kitchen operations.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining quality.Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or catering environment.Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques essential for high-quality meal production.Experience with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols.Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments enhances your suitability for this role.
