Responsibilities

Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite food orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to guestsVerify accuracy of orders against tickets, checking for proper presentation and temperature before servingCommunicate clearly with servers and kitchen personnel to relay special requests or modificationsOrganize and prioritize food trays for smooth service flow during busy periodsAssist with food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanlinessSupport bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining areaEnsure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standardsQualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in roles involving food expediting or preparationStrong communication skills to effectively liaise between kitchen staff and serversKnowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic numeracy for order accuracy and transaction handlingExcellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced settingUnderstanding of food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation proceduresExperience with banquet service or large event catering is a plus, demonstrating adaptability under pressureAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods while maintaining focus on detail and qualityEmbark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your proactive attitude makes a difference!
