Job Summary

Ogden Golf and Country Club is currently seeking a dedicated and personable Server who can Bartend to join our Food & Beverage team. This dual-role position requires the ability to provide exceptional service in our dining restaurant and banquet venues, while also preparing and serving alcoholic beverages at the bar. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality member experiences.

This position requires both Sips and Tips Utah Certification and a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Service

Deliver friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.Accurately take food and beverage orders and serve in a timely manner.Present menu items with knowledge and enthusiasm; offer recommendations.Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and workstations.Process member payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with club policies.Uphold all club service standards and hospitality protocols.Bartending

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.Verify identification to ensure legal age compliance.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.Restock bar inventory and communicate supply needs to management.Provide drink recommendations and be knowledgeable about wine, beer, and cocktail offerings.Banquets & Events

Set up and break down banquet rooms, including linens, silverware, chairs, and décor.Serve food and beverages during private events and functions.Ensure smooth service during large events in a fast-paced environment.Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with guests.Assist with post-event cleanup and reorganization.Qualifications & Requirements

Prior experience as a server and/or bartender in hospitality, food service, or private clubs preferred.Must have current Sips and Tips Utah Certification and Utah Food Handlers Permit.Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.Professional appearance and adherence to dress code required.Benefits
