Job Summary
The Seasonal Golf Operations Supervisor supports the Golf Professionals in delivering smooth, member-focused daily operations at Highland Springs Country Club. This role provides friendly customer service, golf expertise, and consistent oversight of the player experience from start to finish. The supervisor assists with tournaments and outings, leads outside operations with a team-oriented mindset, and maintains the club’s professional service standards through clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and dependable daily execution.
Required Qualifications and Core Competencies
Experience
· 1–2 years golf course operations experience preferred
· Experience working in fast-paced, service-driven environments
· Supervisory or team-lead background strongly preferred
Education
· Associate’s degree OR equivalent work experience
· PGA Level 1 or higher preferred, but not required
Certifications/Credentials
· Valid driver’s license (required to operate vehicles)
· PGA apprentice status preferred

· High attention to detail (example: spotting operational gaps before members do)

Job Tasks/Duties
Daily Operations & Member Service
· Carry out all golf operations tasks with professionalism and efficiency
· Maintain upbeat, friendly service—model the “HSCC standard”
· Manage daily opening and closing checklists
· Keep operations humming during rush periods with quick decisions and calm leadership
· Ensure a consistent player experience by being responsive and following through
Event & Tournament Support
· Assist with day-of execution for outings and tournaments
· Coordinate setup, player movement, scoring, and flow
Marketing & Promotion
· Help promote golf events, leagues, clinics, and tournaments
· Engage members and encourage participation with clear communication and enthusiasm
Other Duties
· Assist with any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Golf or Assistant Golf Professional
· Adapt to changing priorities (rain delays, event modifications, unexpected course needs)
Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions
Continuous standing and walking (sometimes for several hours)
Moving between buildings, practice facilities, and course locations
Carrying or lifting up to 50+ pounds (carts, bags, signage, etc.)
Clear verbal and written communication
Ability to operate all vehicles used daily in golf operations
Office, lifestyle shop, and outdoor course environments
Exposure to extreme heat, cold, humidity, wind, and rain—often for extended periods
High member-interaction environment requiring strong service presence
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
