Golf Shop Manager - Old Westbury Golf & Country Club

Old Westbury Golf & Country Club, one of Long Island’s premier private clubs, is seeking a full-time Golf Shop Manager to join our professional staff and assist in delivering an exceptional golf experience to our membership. The Golf Shop Manager will play a key role in the daily retail and operational management of the golf shop, working closely with the Head Golf Professional and professional staff to ensure the shop operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation. This position is ideal for a motivated, organized, and service-oriented professional with a passion for golf, retail merchandising, and private club hospitality. Position Responsibilities • Oversee the daily organization and maintenance of the golf shop • Assist with merchandise ordering, receiving, and inventory management • Track inventory levels and maintain accurate product records • Assist in the merchandising and display of golf equipment and apparel • Provide excellent service to members and guests through in-person and phone interactions • Answer phones and assist with golf-related inquiries • Develop a strong working knowledge of club programming, tournaments, and golf calendar events • Assist the professional staff with daily golf operations as needed • Ensure the golf shop is consistently presented at the highest professional standard Qualifications • Strong organizational and communication skills • Retail or golf shop experience preferred • Knowledge of golf equipment and apparel is a plus • Professional demeanor and commitment to member service • Ability to work in a fast-paced private club environment • Availability to work weekends and holidays during the golf season Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: $60,000 annually • Performance-based year-end bonus opportunity • Staff meals provided while on duty and Free Onsite Housing • Opportunity to work at one of the most prestigious private clubs on Long Island • Growth opportunities within a high-level professional golf operation How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to: Chris Gabriele, PGA Head Golf Professional chrisgabrielegolf@gmail.com
