Landscaping Horticulture Manager

Our luxury resort-style residential community with club and spa facilities is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Manager to oversee all landscaping activities within the property. As the Landscaping Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the community through meticulous landscaping practices. The manager will act as the primary liaison between the foundation and all third-party landscaping companies to ensure that the grounds are in pristine condition year-round. The Landscaping Manager oversees the visual appeal, health, and pristine condition of luxury resort-style residential grounds. This role focuses strictly on contract management, vendor accountability, and high-end property maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscaping and horticulture, with proven experience in managing landscaping teams and projects. They should have a working knowledge in irrigation with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will be interacting with residents, vendors, and staff members on a regular basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise by designing landscape plans, selecting plant varieties, and implementing sustainable landscaping practices. You will also be responsible for helping to oversee the maintenance of the irrigation systems, and our street and sidewalk cleaning crew. Key Responsibilities - Vendor Management : Source, vet, hire, and audit external landscaping contractors. - Service Level Compliance : Hold vendors strictly accountable for contract specifications, schedules, and quality. - Routine Inspections : Perform daily property walk-throughs to identify turf defects, pest issues, or irrigation leaks. - Aesthetic Direction : Ensure resort-style visuals, including crisp turf striping, vibrant seasonal flower rotations, and meticulous pruning. - Financial Oversight : Manage the annual groundskeeping budget, approve contractor invoices, and review bids for extra project work. - Irrigation & Infrastructure Tracking : Monitor complex watering systems and hardscape maintenance completed by contractors.
