Food & Beverage Manager Oasis Country Club | Palm Desert, CA | Full-Time, Year-Round Oasis Country Club invites applications for the position of Food & Beverage Manager. This role is responsible for the leadership and oversight of daily dining, beverage, banquet, and event operations within a member-focused private club environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational discipline, polished hospitality standards, and the ability to lead a service team with professionalism and consistency. About Oasis Country Club Located in Palm Desert, California, Oasis Country Club provides an established club setting featuring a par-60 executive golf course with 22 lakes, a Ted Robinson-designed 18-hole putting course, a putting green, practice range, three lighted tennis courts, and clubhouse dining with views of the 1st tee and 18th hole. Job Summary The Food & Beverage Manager will provide leadership for front-of-house food and beverage operations, including dining service, beverage service, banquets, private events, and member functions. This position is accountable for maintaining high service standards, supporting departmental financial controls, coordinating effectively with culinary and administrative leadership, and ensuring consistently professional experience for members and guests. Responsibilities Direct daily dining, beverage, banquet, event, and member-service operations. Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate front-of-house food and beverage personnel. Establish and maintain service standards consistent with the expectations of a private club environment. Collaborate with the Sous Chef and club leadership regarding menus, pricing, events, promotions, and beverage programming. Administer purchasing, inventory management, revenue goals, budgets, labor controls, and departmental cost controls. Coordinate the planning and execution of club events, private functions, and special member experiences. Ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, sanitation, food quality, service, and regulatory requirements. Address member and guest inquiries, requests, and service concerns in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications Prior food and beverage management experience is required; experience in a private club, country club, golf club, resort, restaurant, or comparable hospitality environment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, motivate, and develop service personnel. Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, financial acumen, and sound professional judgment. Working knowledge of food and beverage operations, cost controls, event coordination, service procedures, and applicable safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work collaboratively with management, culinary teams, staff, members, guests, and vendors. Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality service. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events as required. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this full-time, year-round position is $85,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience.
