About the Role
Join CCMC as the Common Area Maintenance Manager for a premier 55+ active-adult community in Broomfield. In this role, you’ll oversee the care and long-term condition of the community’s landscaping, irrigation systems, trails, ponds, water features, and other outdoor common areas.
You’ll lead vendors and maintenance activities, coordinate projects and preventive maintenance, manage contracts and expenses, and ensure that residents enjoy safe, attractive, and welcoming outdoor spaces.
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.

This active adult (+55) community association has extensive lifestyle and fitness programming, extensive open space, a trail system, and the centerpiece community recreation facility.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Grounds leadership: Inspect the community and maintain high standards for landscaping, irrigation, trails, ponds, and other common areas.
- Team and vendor management: Assign work, oversee contractors, evaluate performance, and coordinate repairs and projects.
- Preventive maintenance and safety: Maintain inspection, asset, warranty, and service records; ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Budgeting and reporting: Prepare specifications, recommend contract awards, monitor expenses, manage supplies, and present updates to committees and the Board.
What will help you succeed:
- Five or more years of progressively responsible landscape, grounds, turf, irrigation, or horticulture experience.
- Experience supervising employees, contractors, or landscape vendors.
- Strong working knowledge of large-scale irrigation systems, turf, trees, shrubs, native landscapes, and preventive maintenance.
- Turf-management or horticulture education, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Colorado pesticide applicator license preferred—or willingness to obtain it after hire.
- Ability to organize projects, budgets, work orders, inspections, and vendor records using common computer applications.
- Clear, professional communication with residents, committees, vendors, and Board members.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the position’s essential field and scheduling requirements.
