Augustine Golf Club: Golf Course Superintendent

Augustine Golf Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead all agronomic and golf course maintenance operations at our championship golf facility in Stafford County, Virginia. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the club's leadership team and be responsible for delivering high quality playing conditions, environmental stewardship, team development, budget management, capital planning, and daily maintenance operations. Experience RequirementsMinimum five years progressive golf course maintenance experienceMinimum three years supervisory or management experienceStrong experience managing warm-season Bermuda grass and Mid-Atlantic transition zone conditionsEducational RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Turf grass Management, Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticulture, or related field preferredGCSAA Class A Membership preferredSpecial RequirementsVirginia Commercial Pesticide Applicator License required or ability to obtain immediately upon hireExperience with Rain Bird irrigation systems preferredExperience with GPS sprayer technology, irrigation management software, and maintenance management systems preferredBilingual (English-Spanish) communication skills preferredStrong leadership, communication, budgeting, and organizational skills
