Rock Manor Golf Course, located in Wilmington, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Overview The Golf Shop Attendant will offer friendly and expedient service to the property's guests and assist the golf professional staff in golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities. Key Responsibilities Processes customer reservations for guests of the golf courseProvides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in processArranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directedCollects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes transactions in the POS system as trainedIssues receipts for guest purchasesTakes messages for staff or guestsAssists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations suppliesAssists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of dayPerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Qualifications, Experience, And Skill Requirements Must have a friendly and positive personalityMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust have basic computer skillsMust be dependable and have a strong work ethicKnowledge of the game of golf preferred Working Conditions While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands The employee is often required to walk, stand, talk, or hear, handle, feel, or operate objects The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception Noise level is moderately quiet Must work extended hours during the golf and holiday season Must work weekends and holidays Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
