Golf Shop Attendant

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Golf Shop Attendant to join The Swing Bays team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor. This position offers an engaging environment where you can share your enthusiasm for the sport while assisting customers with their needs.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.Manage reservations and scheduling to optimize the flow of players.Provide information about our indoor golf facility, including available services and equipment.Operate the shop's point-of-sale system to handle sales of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area to ensure a welcoming environment.Assist customers in selecting golf equipment or apparel suited to their needs.Answer questions related to indoor golf activities, rules, or facility features.Monitor the condition of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.Support overall facility operations to ensure guests have a positive experience.Skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills.Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and terminology is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced indoor environment.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.Join our Swing Bays team and be part of an exciting indoor golf experience right here in Wake Forest!

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
