OVERVIEW:
As a Golf Instructor, you will create a welcoming environment for golfers of all levels, providing top-notch instruction while forming lasting relationships with each student. You will engage with clients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and lesson goals, acting as their Trusted Advisor in their golfing journey. Your commitment to self-improvement will enhance your teaching ability, ensuring that your methods align with students' understanding and learning styles. You will actively seek innovative ways to grow your student base while striving to meet and exceed financial and performance goals.
Engaging with the community is crucial; you will partner with local organizations to promote the Dick's House of Sport experience through teaching, support, and awareness initiatives. Your efforts will focus on creating enduring relationships with golfers, regardless of their individual paths in golf.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Certified Fitters and teammates to elevate the Trusted Advisor experience. This includes interacting with golfers during fittings, suggesting lesson improvements, and sharing your expertise with students and other professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years of experience
Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing
3+ years of club-fitting knowledge through experience and/or OEM training
PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1,2,3, or interested in pursuing a PGA/LPGA membership through our Associate Program
Trackman Level 1 & 2 certification
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Passion for golf equipment and technology
Strong desire for continuous learning and teaching
Awareness of current industry trends
