OVERVIEW:
Key Responsibilities
Develop a loyal student base by creating a welcoming atmosphere for golfers, offering top-notch instruction, and nurturing lasting relationships with students. Engage with clients to pinpoint their swing and game strengths and weaknesses, identify their lesson goals, and serve as a Trusted Advisor tailored to each student's needs. Continually seek opportunities for self-improvement to enhance your teaching skills. Adapt your teaching methods to optimize student comprehension and consistently strive to exceed financial and performance targets.
Engage in community outreach by collaborating with local organizations to educate, support, and promote the DICK'S House of Sport experience. Lead initiatives in your local area to cultivate enduring relationships with golfers, regardless of their progress on their golfing journey.
Work in partnership with Certified Fitters and teammates to elevate the Trusted Advisor experience for every student. This may include collaborating with Fitters and golfers during fittings, offering instructional advice, and sharing your expertise with fellow teammates and golfers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years of relevant experience
Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing
3+ years of knowledge in club-fitting obtained through experience or OEM training
PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, or an Apprentice at levels 1, 2, or 3, interested in pursuing PGA/LPGA membership through the Associate Program
Trackman Level 1 & 2 certification
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about golf equipment and technology
Desire for continuous learning and helping others learn
Stay informed about industry trends

Targeted Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $67,200.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that may include additional components such as incentives, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other business considerations. We review teammate pay regularly to ensure it is competitive and equitable. DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements and offers a comprehensive suite of benefits.
