Description POSITION: MASSAGE THERAPIST - PART TIME CATEGORY: NON-EXEMPT SUMMARY: The Massage Therapist provides a variety of touch modalities for our members as listed in the RHCC Spa Menu, which includes various massage and body treatments. Using outstanding customer service skills, the Massage Therapist will also suggest products and services to meet the individual needs of each member. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that members and associates can relate to. Share your personal passion for and the knowledge of the services and amenities available to members to make them feel right at home. Be able to accurately describe and sell the services and products that are offered at the Spa. Ensure the privacy of each member- this is of utmost importance. Provide consultation to guests as needed to determine their unique needs and expectations. Provide excellent customer service, present a professional appearance and attitude, and helps monitor member feedback. Assist in helping with cleanliness throughout the Spa, which includes restoring and restocking the treatment rooms to a neat and inviting manner after each service. Follow emergency protocols as required (if needed) until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must have an in-depth knowledge of safe massage and body treatment techniques. Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to communicate and connect with a diverse group of individuals of all age groups. Ability to work as a team player and always maintain a professional appearance. Ability to work all shifts - days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
