About the Role
Position Overview:
The Pro Shop Staff Member must be able to deliver excellent customer service by welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all players while maintaining a professional, friendly atmosphere while supporting daily golf course operations and addressing customer needs promptly. You will be checking in golfers, booking tee times over the phone, selling golf merchandise in the pro shop and assisting in other clubhouse operations as requested by your supervisor.
This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming, professional, and enjoyable experience for all guests. The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and able to respond to guest needs efficiently while supporting overall course operations.

Duties and Essential Functions:
• Greets all guests in a friendly courteous and professional manner.
• Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guests in playing the course.
Learn and recognize guest names, when possible, to enhance customer experience.
• Be knowledgeable of all programs and fee structures.
• Make golf reservations and collect fees through our POS system.
• Ability to register customers in our variety of programs.
• Keep golf shop and work areas clean and organized.
• Be attentive to all service needs of customers in person and over the phone.
• Work as a team with fellow workers to provide consistent customer satisfaction.
• Maintain, foster and grow a positive, fun and hard-working environment.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
Participate in employee orientation and required safety trainings.
Report guest concerns or complaints promptly to the manager on duty.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior golf course or related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks, including bending and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat.
Valid driver's license required.
