The role of Kitchen Manager at PopStroke's Orlando I-Drive venue is an exciting opportunity for an experienced culinary professional to lead a fast-paced, high-performing kitchen team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing daily kitchen operations, focusing on employee development, inventory management, quality control, and seamless service. Reporting directly to the Operating Partner and Regional Chef, the Kitchen Manager will ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, meets food quality standards, and complies with all health, safety, and operational regulations. This role requires a leader who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of inspiring the team while also taking part in day-to-day kitchen functions.
The Kitchen Manager’s responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, managing labor and food costs, ensuring sanitation and safety standards, handling inventory and supplies, coordinating events, and maintaining the highest possible standards of culinary excellence. This position demands a proactive leader with a strong background in kitchen management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for creating an exceptional dining experience. PopStroke offers a competitive compensation package with an annual salary of up to $90,000 plus bonuses, reflective of the significant responsibilities and leadership opportunities involved.

Minimum of 7 years of relevant kitchen experience including management roles
Culinary degree preferred
Serve Safe Manager certification required
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in restaurant operations and safety standards
Ability to manage inventory and labor costs effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long durations
