Director of Junior Golf

<p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>The True Swing Golf Academy at Caguas Golf Club in Caguas, Puerto Rico is looking for a teaching professional to move to paradise and lead junior coaching and development programs within an established curriculum and philosophy for ages 5-17. Programming will include but not limited to year-long age-appropriate training groups, team/league play as well as holiday &amp; summer day camps.</p> <p> </p> <p>The instructor will be an employee of Caguas Golf Club, and report to the Owner/Founder of True Swing, Erika Larkin, PGA &amp; Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher as well as the management on-site at Caguas.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about coaching golf, mentoring juniors, values community, creativity, organization, and growth. The candidate must have extensive experience running large junior golf programs with long-term development in mind. </p> <p> </p> <p>This candidate will be helping to establish the junior golf culture at the facility and within the central Puerto Rico community as one of the few public-access facilities!</p> <p> </p> <p>Join an incredible team and build something special at a state-of-the-art teaching center. We anticipate high traffic and lots of growth potential in an area where junior golf has been truly underserved and untapped until now!</p> <p> </p> <p>Speaking Spanish is a bonus skill, but not required.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Facility Description</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Caguas Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf facility that has undergone a full renovation over the last 18 months. The Academy building will sit on the north end of a double-ended driving range adjacent to a large, short-game area and grass tee. The Academy will feature 3 Platform Golf studio bays, Sports Box 3D, Trackman radars and more. </p> <p> </p> <p>Other features on property (opening in 2027) include a double decker lit, covered range facility with In-Range technology &amp; gaming, restaurants, cigar lounge, gaming, simulation, karaoke, entertainment plaza, children’s activity center and a large pavilion for ‘Pickle/Padel’ courts. Next door is an existing Four Points Sheraton &amp; Casino.</p> <p> </p> <p>Caguas Golf Club will be a premier public entertainment complex located only 20 minutes from the largest metropolitan areas on the island. The possibilities are endless for creative programming!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Current Program Philosophy</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>True Swing is a teaching philosophy founded and popularized by Erika Larkin.
