Golf Coach - High School Girls for the 2022-2023 Season

Golf Coach High School Girls Monument Academy (MA), a Charter School of Excellence in beautiful Monument, Colorado, is seeking candidates for High School Coaching positions. It is an exciting time to join Monument Academy as we are experiencing growth at our new Secondary Campus. MA will have students in grades 6 through 11 next year, with our first graduation in May of 2024. Monument Academy has coaching positions open as our enrollment grows. Monument Academy is seeking candidates who demonstrate the following: Alignment with our Mission Statement: The mission of Monument Academy is to provide a challenging, content-rich, academic program offered within an engaging, caring, and positive learning environment. Coaches should place a high priority on the success of the team and individuals. Desire to Produce Excellence: Diligent, dedicated coaches who take initiative, commit to excellence, and desire self-improvement for the betterment of all Monument Academy teams, student-athletes, and the academy. High School Coaches at Monument Academy will: Plan, manage, and supervise practices for their respective teams with the assistance of the Athletic Director. Help set a tone of excellence and culture of character for their athletes. Teach individual skills related to the specific sport Establish a Team-First mentality Communicate proactively with staff, students, and parents. Attend required coaches' meetings and complete CHSAA required training and exams. Seek out opportunities for professional development. Build appropriate professional relationships with student-athletes. Collaborate with fellow coaches in creating and maintaining an athletic program of excellence. Other duties as assigned by administration Qualifications Positive enthusiasm and patience in working to develop a new sport Demonstrates consistently high character and sportsmanship Passion for the specific sport Proficient in basic technology skills Ability to fulfill the time commitment of daily practices and some summer engagement as appropriate Anticipated Salary: $1,500 - $2500.00 depending on length of season, experience and alignment with the MA mission.
