Food and Beverage Manager

Position Overview Valley Hill Country Club is seeking a hands-on, service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily front-of-house dining operations and elevate the overall member experience. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality service across all dining venues while developing a strong, accountable team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day front-of-house operations across all dining outlets, ensuring service excellence and consistency Serve as a visible presence on the floor, engaging with members and guests and reinforcing a “Members First” culture Hire, train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff; conduct evaluations and ongoing coaching Execute pre-shift meetings and ensure staff alignment on service expectations, reservations, and special requests Oversee dining room setup, floor plans, and service flow based on daily business levels Manage bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and assisting with beverage program development Monitor labor, scheduling, and operating efficiency to support departmental financial goals Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of all dining and service areas Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Events Team to ensure seamless execution of daily dining and club events Address member feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring effective service recovery Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled
