Job Summary
The Golf Course Maintenance Laborer is responsible for maintaining the appearance, playability, and safety of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This position performs a variety of manual labor and equipment based tasks to ensure the course meets high standards for members and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areasRake bunkers and maintain sand trapsPerform trimming, edging, and blowing of turf and landscaped areasHand wateringRemove debris, leaves, and litter from the course and practice areasAssist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and tree careOperate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safelyReport equipment issues, safety hazards, or turf problems to supervisorsFollow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulationsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious golf course or grounds maintenance experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to work outdoors in extreme weather conditionsAbility to perform strenuous physical laborWillingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic understanding of turf maintenance practices (training provided)Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a teamAttention to detail and pride in work qualityStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceWork Environment & Physical Demands
Outdoor work environment with exposure to heat, cold, rain, and humidityFrequent walking, bending, lifting, and use of hand tools and machinery
Salary: USD 2000 - 3000 per month
