Overview
IvyMade Golf Academy is conducting a nationwide search for an experienced Golf Swing Coach. Candidates from anywhere in the United States are encouraged to apply. This is an on-site position in Irvine, California. Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Golf Coach to inspire and develop players of all skill levels. This energetic role involves delivering engaging coaching sessions, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the love of golf through expert guidance and motivation. As a vital part of our sports education team, you will help individuals improve their technique, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a supportive setting. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, experienced in sports coaching, and committed to nurturing both beginner and advanced players.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver golf training programs, including swing mechanics, putting, chipping, and golf-specific fitness training.
* Provide on-course coaching, course-management strategies, and tactical guidance.
* Develop competition and long-term development plans for junior golfers.
* Monitor students’ daily training progress and adjust technical plans based on individual needs.
* Use TrackMan and GCQuad for swing analysis, performance evaluation, and data tracking.
* Maintain accurate training records and provide regular progress feedback to students and parents.
* Collaborate with other coaches to coordinate each student’s swing, short-game, fitness, and competition training.
Qualifications
* Former NCAA Division I, II, or III collegiate golfer preferred.
* Professional tournament experience is highly preferred.
* PGA membership or certification is preferred.
* TPI certification is preferred.
* Previous golf coaching or junior-player development experience is preferred.
* Experience using TrackMan, GCQuad, or other golf-performance technology is highly valued.
* Strong communication, organization, and data-recording skills.
* Passionate about golf instruction and committed to helping junior golfers improve and succeed in competition.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
