Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Port Huron, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional to oversee all aspects of golf operations, including pro shop management, merchandising, event coordination, and member services. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in all facets of a private club operation while helping drive a vibrant golf culture at Port Huron Elks.
Requirement
• PGA Member or registered PGA Associate (or actively pursuing PGA membership) Preferred.
• Previous experience in golf operations, customer service, and tournament management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Rules of Golf, USGA Handicap System, and Golf Genius tournament software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with POS systems, tee sheet management, and Golf Genius.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Compensation
$800.00 – $900.00 per week.
