Position Overview: The Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic, service-driven, and career-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team and help deliver an outstanding golf experience for our members and guests. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the fastest-growing golf clubs in the Midlands while working alongside an experienced leadership team dedicated to excellence and professional development. The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional at The Golf Club and the Director of Golf for Bluebird Golf Management, gaining valuable experience in daily golf operations, membership engagement, tournament administration, merchandising, instruction, and club development. This position offers a unique opportunity for an aspiring PGA Professional to grow within a dynamic organization that values innovation, hospitality, and career advancement. Requirements • PGA Associate enrolled in the PGA Golf Management Program or a desire to pursue PGA Membership. • 1-3 years of golf operations experience preferred. • Previous experience as an Assistant Golf Professional, Golf Shop Assistant, Intern, or Outside Operations Supervisor at a private club, resort, daily-fee facility, or golf management company. • Experience working in a member-focused environment with a passion for hospitality and service. • Knowledge of tournament operations, handicapping, and event administration. • Familiarity with golf management software such as Golf Genius, Club Prophet, ForeTees, or similar systems is preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced golf industry leaders. • Passion for growing the game through instruction, junior golf, member engagement, and club programming.
