About the Club: Sunset Ridge Country Club comprises 600 family members and offers an array of amenities, such as an 18-hole golf course, a modern fitness center, swimming pool, skeet, tennis, pickle and paddle ball courts. Buildings on the property consist of: main clubhouse, Paddle Hut, Skeet Hut, 7th Hole, Halfway House, and Summer House with a fitness center, tennis shop, locker rooms, bar with dining, kitchen throughout the summer, and golf simulators in winter.

Sunset Ridge is seeking an experienced, dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of food and beverage service across the Club. This includes the Main Dining Room, Bar and Grille Room, Pool House, Halfway House, 7th Hole event operations. This role is responsible for delivering an elevated, consistent and personalized member dining experience that reflects the Club’s standards. It requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We’re seeking a dedicated professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards while delivering an outstanding experience for our members and guests.
This position requires working weekends and holidays. Sunset Ridge Country Club is open to membership from February through December. The Pool and 1923 Grill, with a full kitchen, is open Memorial Day through the last weekend in September, with a few events during colder months. The clubhouse and golf course are closed on Mondays all year; in addition, they are closed on Tuesdays from November through March.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including a la carte dining, bar service, and events. Working with the Dining Room Manager to lead, train, schedule, and motivate front-of-house staff to ensure top-tier service and professionalism. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service in all food and beverage areas. Help create and manage department budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls to meet financial goals. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Manage member and guest relations by addressing concerns, accommodating special requests, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement. Participate in planning and execution of Club events, member activities, and special functions. Maintain accurate POS systems and ensure correct billing and reporting. Receptive to feedback, willing to learn, embracing continuous improvement. Helpful, respectful, approachable, and team-oriented. Ability to build strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Seeks to build collaboration by encouraging trust, mutual respect, and shared purpose. Balances between listening and talking; speaks and writes clearly and accurately, adept at keeping others informed.
Candidate Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a private club. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team. High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence. Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage trends. Proficiency in restaurant and club management systems preferred. Availability of working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. ServSafe and Tips certifications.

At this time, we are not providing moving compensation.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, starting at $85,000
