About the position
The Golf Course Greenskeeper will assist with the golf operations and services, including golf course maintenance, day-to-day operation of the Golf Courses, Golf Course Maintenance Department, Pro Shop, Driving Range, etc.
Responsibilities
Assists in responding to golf course maintenance requests, homeowner concerns, and problems.Ensures that the golf course facilities and associated facilities are maintained in accordance with acceptable maintenance standards.Takes appropriate action to ensure that unsafe practices or conditions are corrected.Other duties as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of this position.Requirements
Knowledge of golf course maintenance.Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)Knowledge of general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.).Professional customer service skills.Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.Ability to work weekendsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.Nice-to-haves
