POSITION SUMMARY Fawn Lake Country Club is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our Banquet and Events Team as Banquet Servers/Bartenders. This position plays a vital role in the successful execution of weddings, private events, member functions, golf tournaments, and special club events. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service to members and guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Beverage Service Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards and applicable laws. Mix cocktails and provide beverage recommendations when appropriate. Maintain accurate tabs, vouchers, and event beverage service records. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service. Banquet Service Provide professional, courteous, and attentive service throughout events. Assist with plated meal service, buffet service, and passed hors d'oeuvres. Deliver food and beverages efficiently and accurately. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests. Event Set-Up and Breakdown Assist with room setup, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations. Ensure banquet areas are clean, organized, and event-ready. Participate in event breakdown and post-event cleanup. Properly store equipment, supplies, and inventory following events. Team Collaboration Work closely with the Events, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Management teams to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the Club. Support fellow team members to provide an exceptional guest experience. QUALIFICATIONS Required Must be at least 21 years of age. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Preferred Previous banquet serving, bartending, restaurant, or hospitality experience. Bartending certification or equivalent beverage service training. Experience serving weddings, private events, or large-scale functions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as required. SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS Event-based scheduling. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary based on Club events, member functions, and seasonal business needs.
