Shaker Heights Country Club is looking for responsible Valet Attendants that ensures all Shaker Heights Country Club members and guests are received immediately and courteously upon arrival and are assisted as efficiently as possible. Demonstrate a positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, and professionalism to the membership, guests, and fellow employees. Must be a 'team' player.
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Our Valet attendants have the first opportunity to provide our members with a warm greeting and send them home with a fond farewell. They will park guests’ vehicles safely and expediently in an organized fashion. They must always demonstrate professionalism in appearance and attitude for the valet attendant is the first person a guest sees when they arrive. They must demonstrate caring and respect for each member to ensure a courteous experience.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
Assist members and guests with opening/closing vehicle doors.
Assists club members and guests getting in and out of their cars, and then parking them safely.
Assists with removing and transporting items and packages to and from vehicles.
Running to and from parking cars is required to show a sense of urgency for the guests needs.
Valets are responsible for the immediate maintenance and general appearance of the main entrance and parking lot. This includes but is not limited to keeping the Valet Port clear from all trash and debris, all brass should be highly polished as well as entrance windows.
Valet staff must maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Valet Area.
Valet staff will retrieve all vehicles with a sense of urgency with accuracy.
Valet staff must maintain a valid driver’s license and knowledgeable of operating all vehicle types.
Physical ability to stand for several hours is a must.

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Self- motivated
Must be detail oriented
Pleasant demeanor and friendly.
Able to run repeatedly for extended periods of time.
Must be able and willing to working outside in all elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
Likes to help others.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English.
Must be able to stand during entire shift.
Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Available to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, split shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
