Job in Sewanee Lily Lifestyle Jobs Location: Sewanee Position SummaryUnder general direction from the Golf Course Superintendent and/or Maintenance Foreman, the Greenskeeper is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks on the golf course and grounds, safely operating various tools and equipment. Competitive benefits package, free golf upon availability, lunch, and employee discounts on retail.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Tasks may include loading/unloading materials, raking bunkers, landscape care, sod laying, and participating in construction projects.Trained to operate various tools, machinery, and equipment safely.Equipment may include blowers, edgers, hand tools, rotary mowers, sand pro, string trimmers, and utility vehicles.Care for assigned equipment by inspecting before and after each use.Communicate efficiently to solve problems.QualificationsValid driver's license. Driving record meeting company safety policies and guidelines.6‑month experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.Visually inspect all work areas, golf course and grounds.Proficient in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Operate vehicles and equipment for several hours at a time.Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a timeLift up to 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantlyPositive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.ClassificationFull-time, Seasonal, Hourly, Non‑ExemptKemper Sports Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer
