About Foxfire Golf and Country Club
Foxfire is a private, bundled golf community in Southwest Florida with 931 housing units governed by a Master Association Board of Directors. Our annual budget is $9 million with 120 employees. Our recently renovated 27-hole golf course and brand-new amenity offerings are receiving rave reviews from our members. Foxfire’s Clubhouse includes a Main Dining Room with a capacity of 220 people and a Grille Room and Grille Room Patio with up to 100 people. Additionally, the ideally situated Halfway House services the golf course, tennis and bocce courts, and an outdoor casual seating area for up to 80 people.
Position Summary
Foxfire Golf and Country Club is looking for a valued team member to serve as line cook. This position places items required for work station according to par sheets or instructions from the Sous Chef. Prepares products assigned to work station during service.
We are looking for line cooks to work afternoon/evening shifts at this time only.

Position Responsibilities
· Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for line and special function purposes.
· Carefully follows standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items.
· Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers’ instructions.
· Cleans work station.
· Returns unused food products to proper storage areas.
· Assists with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed.
· Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices including those related to personal hygiene.
· Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small wares to the proper areas.
· Makes recommendations for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the fry area and equipment.
· Attends staff meetings.
· Completes appropriate tasks as assigned by the Sous Chef.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
· Must have the knowledge of basic culinary fundamentals.
· Must become familiar with all kitchen equipment and machinery.
· Follows all state and local health and food safety regulations.
· Must use precaution to avoid burns from hot fat and grease, but should be familiar with
treating such injuries should they occur.
· Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
· Work additional hours as assigned/required.
· Comply with all policies and procedures.
Education, Licenses, and Experience
· High School diploma or GED preferred.
· At least three months related experience or training.
· Food safety certification – ServSafe.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Required to stand for long periods of time.
· Walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.
· Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
· Continuous repetitive motions.
· Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
