OVERVIEW: The job is responsible for: The Boca West Country Club Fitness Receptionist is the first point of contact for our members and guests. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing member check-ins, answering inquiries, and supporting the daily operations of the fitness center to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage member check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries related to fitness services and memberships.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Assist with membership inquiries, registrations, and renewals.
Coordinate with fitness staff regarding class schedules, personal training appointments, and facility maintenance.
Promote fitness programs, classes, and special events to members.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and membership payments accurately.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Perform administrative duties as needed, including data entry and filing.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service or reception experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or membership software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

A basic understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
