Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable environment for campers. Campers are 1st grade through 5th grade. Activities include golf, tennis and swimming.
Duties:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities and games
- Implement planned programs and activities to promote camper participation
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Assist in organizing and leading group activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and nature exploration
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
Experience:
- Previous experience in childhood development or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of sports coaching or working with students is a plus
- Experience in classroom management or daycare settings beneficial
- First aid certification is desirable
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a positive camp environment
- Background in childcare, special education, tutoring, or related areas is advantageous
