Summer Camp Counselor

Talbot Country Club – Easton, Maryland Talbot Country Club is seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Summer Camp team as Camp Counselors. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children, creating fun experiences, and being part of a positive summer environment. Camp Counselors are responsible for helping lead daily activities, supervising campers, ensuring a safe environment, and creating memorable experiences for children participating in the club’s summer camp program. Position Type Seasonal Summer Position Weekday Availability Required Camp Weeks: June 16th-19th | July 6th-10th | July 14th-17th | July 27th-31st | August 4th-7th | August 10th-14th Responsibilities Supervise and engage campers in daily activities, games, crafts, sports, swimming, and special events Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all campers Assist with planning and organizing camp activities Encourage teamwork, participation, and positive behavior among campers Maintain a fun, inclusive, and energetic environment Communicate professionally with parents, members, and fellow staff Assist with setup, cleanup, and daily camp operations Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols Qualifications Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and strong leadership skills Enjoy working with children in a team-oriented environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to stay active outdoors throughout the day Previous childcare, camp, coaching, or teaching experience preferred but not required CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Must be at least 16 years old What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Fun and supportive summer work environment Opportunity to build leadership and teamwork skills Flexible summer scheduling Employee meals and club privileges may be available Pay: $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
