Role Description
Currently interviewing for a Founding General Manager/Chief Operating Executive to help launch and lead a modern, hospitality driven destination featuring premier racquet amenities. wellness, upscale food and beverage and a highly curated member experience. Ideal for a proven operator from a luxury club, resort or lifestyle environment who thrives in a lean, high ownership setting and wants to build something exceptional from the ground up.
The Private Club General Manager (Founding Operating Executive) will oversee the daily operations and long-term strategic vision of Bath & Racquet Club. Responsibilities include managing staff, developing and implementing operational policies, delivering an exceptional member and resident experience, and ensuring the club meets financial performance goals. The role requires leadership in sales, marketing, and community engagement to drive club membership growth. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarasota, FL.
Qualifications
Proven leadership skills in managing teams within hospitality, private clubs, or similar industries.Strong financial acumen, including budget management, profit and loss analysis, and financial forecasting.Experience in customer relations and creating excellent member and resident experiences.Background in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for membership growth.Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including staff, residents, and board members.Experience in operating a private club or similar hospitality establishmentExperience on an opening team, start up, product launch or go to market operationStrong understanding of Operations in Racquet Sports
