The person should have experience in the golf course industry. Duties include, working with current Superintendent on the following • Scheduling, training, supervising of grounds staff • Pesticide and fertilizing applications • Schedule and maintain irrigation system • Assist in maintenance of equipment and golf cart fleet • Assist with daily course and tournament set-up and operations • Assist with hiring, budgeting, and employee evaluation Requirements • An individual with a 2- or 4-year degree in Turf/Golf Course Management is preferred • Minnesota Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain one • Valid Driver’s license • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, motivated, energetic, and high attention to detail • Knowledge of the game of golf and rules • Ability to perform physical work.
