Weekend Golf Shop Coordinator - Part Time

Coordinator Position at TPC Louisiana Located just 15 miles outside of downtown New Orleans in Avondale, TPC Louisiana offers an award-winning championship golf course that is open to the public to enjoy. TPC Louisiana is home to the state's only PGA TOUR event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and hosts many other events throughout the year. A stadium design brings golf fans up close to the action at every hole, making for a superb spectator experience. TPC Louisiana is consistently included in GolfWeek's "Best Courses You Can Play" each year. The Coordinator works with the Assistant Golf Professionals to serve Members and Guests in the Golf Shop. They are most influential in generating retail sales for the club. They conscientiously tend to the needs of the players and guests ensuring that their golf experience runs as smoothly and enjoyably as possible. Qualifications High school education or equivalent education Basic knowledge of general business practices, retail sales practices and procedures as would be acquired through one to two years of similar experience Previous customer experience required Responsibilities/Duties Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and Guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible Greet and welcome Members and Guests in a professional and courteous manner Communicate clearly and professionally with Members, Guests, and fellow staff Members Answer questions and provide assistance and information to Members & Guests Answer telephones to schedule future starting times and communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner.
