Golf Course Maintenance Technician

Become part of our inclusive team at Invited! Your Role As a Golf Course Maintenance Technician, you will perform essential tasks in maintaining and enhancing the golf course environment. Your efforts will help ensure that the landscapes are both beautiful and functional. Responsibilities • Safely operate powered equipment for mowing and maintaining facility grounds. • Utilize light equipment for transporting materials and clearing debris. • Water and fertilize plants to ensure vibrant growth. • Prepare soil for planting, lay sod, and seed as necessary. • Trim trees, prune shrubs, and cultivate flowers to maintain optimal landscaping. • Complete daily tasks aligned with Club standards and service expectations, keeping areas clean and tidy. Additional Responsibilities • Adapt to a dynamic environment and assist team members as needed. • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. • Maintain professionalism and a commitment to service in all interactions. • Follow safety protocols and promote awareness among colleagues. • Engage in personal development and maintain relevant certifications. • Address challenges effectively, collaborating with team members to enhance operations. • Participate in daily briefings and contribute to team success. Qualifications Required: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred: • Experience in landscape management or groundskeeping. Physical Requirements • Work primarily outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, and climbing. Tools and Equipment • Various construction tools (shovels, axes, etc.) • Gardening tools (pruners, rakes, etc.) • Blowers and mowers • Tractors Work Schedule • Must adhere to the weekly schedule and be available for additional hours, including weekends and holidays.
