About the Role
Location: Palm Beach Gardens or Jupiter, Florida (TBD)
Job type: Full-time
Base salary: $85,000 per year
Total cash opportunity: Up to $120,000 per year in Year One, based on written performance measures — with a defined path to $115,000–$125,000 total compensation as the flagship reaches full potential.
Primary schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:40 p.m., with one modified weekday for league responsibilities. Approximately 8 scheduled weekend days annually for quarterly golf trips and member-appreciation events. Regular weekends off.
You Won't Coach a Roster. You'll Know Every Name On It.
Golf 100 is built around one promise: measurable improvement, personal recognition, and a true 100-person club. We are permanently capped at 100 named members — not 100 as a marketing number, but 100 as an operating constraint. Every member holds one standing weekly appointment with you or your Assistant. Every appointment has one clear objective, one intervention, and one next step. There is no volume to hide behind and no roster large enough to lose someone in.
This is the founding Head Professional role for our flagship: a private, technology-enabled improvement studio built around a single TrackMan iO bay and a custom PuttView P10 Select green, inside a tightly designed 1,200-1,600' square-foot space that reads as a private club, not a retail store. No cart barn. No tee sheet. No walk-ins. Appointment-only, by design.
This Is a System You Will Build, Not a Job You Will Fill
Every member follows a documented 13-week improvement plan: baseline and plan, build, transfer, play, and rebuild. You will run this cycle personally for your roster, calibrate it weekly with your Assistant Professional so members experience one coaching philosophy instead of two, and refine the training standards that will be taught to Golf 100 professionals at future locations — Jupiter is already on the map.
You do not rebuild the swing every week. Every appointment confirms the current priority, uses objective TrackMan and PuttView data, makes one understandable intervention, and leaves the member with a specific next action. It is a system — precise, repeatable, and yours to own.
The Golf Life, Without the Grind
Outside the studio, you are Golf 100's principal golf authority:
A weekly nine-hole league that you and the General Manager host together, one afternoon a week A monthly 18-hole tournament — the club's premium competitive event, with greater ceremony, hospitality and points than the weekly league Four quarterly golf trips a year as principal host — typically one accessible drive destination, two marquee domestic experiences (opening candidates include Streamsong, Pinehurst and Sea Island/Reynolds), and one major international trip (Scotland is the opening target). Golf 100 covers all of your trip expenses, including the international trip — airfare, lodging, ground transportation, passport/visa fees and travel insurance. Four quarterly member-appreciation events — closest-to-the-pin contests, PuttView challenges, and real connection with the people you coach every week
And then you go home. Regular weekends are member self-service — the studio runs unstaffed, on the honor and structure of a real operating system. Your weekend commitment is limited to roughly 8 days a year total, for the trips and appreciation events above. This is not a seven-day club-operations grind. It is a five-day coaching role with a golf life built in. What You Will Own
Member coaching: Deliver high-quality weekly PGA Performance Appointments and maintain clear continuity across each 13-week plan Improvement measurement: Use TrackMan, PuttView, scoring and member feedback to document progress and adjust priorities Coaching leadership: Calibrate weekly with the Assistant Professional so members experience one Golf 100 system, not two coaching philosophies Member retention: Know the roster, identify declining engagement and work with the General Manager on respectful recovery plans Fitting: Own technical fitting standards, approve specifications and verify custom orders before delivery through our outsourced-build model League, tournament, trips and events: Assist the General Manager in running the weekly league; lead the monthly tournament, quarterly trips and quarterly appreciation events Documentation: Complete timely, understandable session notes that pass quarterly coaching-quality audits Franchise prototype: Help refine the training standards and operating playbook that future Golf 100 professionals will be taught Safety and care: Enforce swing-zone, equipment, privacy, guest and incident-reporting standards
What We Are Looking For The successful candidate is an excellent coach who genuinely likes people. You can make complex concepts understandable, use technology without hiding behind it, and build trust with golfers across different ages, handicaps and goals. You are organized enough to document a plan, disciplined enough to follow one system, and confident enough to change course when the data or member response requires it. You should bring
A recognized professional-golf credential or advanced pathway appropriate to the role, such as PGA of America membership, advanced PGA Associate status or LPGA professional status A strong record of individual coaching and golfer-development results Experience using launch-monitor data in live instruction, with TrackMan experience strongly preferred The ability to coach both technical improvement and transfer to scoring and on-course decisions Comfort with fitting, custom-order specifications and equipment evaluation Strong written documentation and professional communication habits The ability to lead and develop another professional without creating competing coaching philosophies Genuine enthusiasm for leagues, tournaments, golf travel and member relationships Availability for the early weekday schedule, one modified league day, the monthly tournament, and the roughly 8 scheduled weekend days annually described above
Experience with PuttView, private-club members, recurring coaching programmes, player-development systems, opening a new facility or training professionals across multiple locations is valuable but not required. Compensation and Growth Path The opening package includes an $85,000 base salary with total annual cash opportunity of up to $120,000 under a written incentive plan tied to retention, completed 13-week Rebuilds, documented golfer improvement, coaching-quality audits, fitting contribution, league/tournament/trip execution and Assistant Professional development. As the flagship reaches full 100-member capacity and the coaching program matures, this role has a defined path to $115,000–$125,000 in total compensation. Benefits
