Mattaponi Springs is seeking a motivated, reliable person to join our team overseeing clubhouse operations. You will assist the General Manager in scheduling and running the clubhouse, bar/kitchen and catering staff. We offer flexible schedules, and role variety if you prefer to not do the same job day in and day out.
We are also hiring additional Clubhouse Staff if your experience doesn't immediately lend itself to a supervisory role and you would like to grow into one!
Golf experience is preferred but not required. Employees play free!
Social media marketing experience preferred.
Most of our crew are multi-talented, so you will be well-supported if you're new to golf or events.
We welcome staff who may need schedule flexibility for child care or other commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide customer-focused service; welcome customers to the club and assist them with requests. Provide outstanding hospitality.
Monitor and assist all employees; assign daily duties.
Train and support new team members.
Monitor and adjust golf operations.
Maintain a tidy and organized facility.
Carry keys and open and close the club.
Oversee cleaning, maintenance, deliveries and staffing.
Perform and supervise daily procedures.
Collaborate with management to organize marketing and promotional campaigns and to coordinate staff schedules and activities.
Handle managerial tasks when the general manager is unavailable.
Manage bank deposits, balance point of sale drawers and safe.
Manage paperwork and tend to other office tasks.
Ensure that all employees adhere to company policy and safety standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Three to five years of restaurant/retail experience preferred.
Customer- and team-focused attitude.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; friendly and approachable.
Basic computer proficiency.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Maintain a well-groomed and professional demeanor.
Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
Adaptable; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Open availability; dependable and punctual attendance.
