About the Role

As a Golf Shop Retail Buyer and management team member, you will purchase inventory for golf shop, manage staff, handle merchandising, and ensure excellent customer service.
Your tasks include keeping the store welcoming, tracking inventory, updating displays, mentoring staff, and fostering teamwork. You’ll address feedback, resolve issues, and use strong communication and organizational skills to improve guest experience and stay current with industry trends. What you will be doing: Purchases all Golf soft goods for the operation. Maintains appropriate retail displays and optimizes product placement of soft goods within the Golf shop. Manage golf soft goods ordering, receipt, and inventory turnover efficiently.
Manages
Golf retail employees, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to all Broadmoor service standards. Maintains direct communication with the Director of Golf and the Retail Cost Controller regarding all facets of the Golf retail experience. Participates in retail merchandise computer training or other business‑related training sessions as directed by the Director of Golf or the Retail Cost Controller.
Ensures employee adherence to established security, sales, and record‑keeping procedures, along with policies set forth by the Director of Golf or the Retail Cost Controller. Responsible for scheduled inventories and explanation for any variances. Accountable for managing labor costs and sales revenue within the golf retail sector.
Assists Head Golf
Professional with any special orders and follow through including Personal Use Discount orders. Plans and runs Golf shop promotions and events. Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and best‑selling products within the golf sector.
Hosts and attends regular department meetings and line‑ups to share important hotel and departmental updates. Attend weekly Golf Operations meetings to review line‑ups and plan for upcoming Manages web store orders and golf retail merchandise on the e‑store. Supports the Head Golf Professional in managing group sales, including client consultations, merchandise selection, contracting, ordering, receiving, delivery, and billing processes.
Responsible for local embroidery duties including scheduling pick up/drop off and operational Assists with recruiting and hiring of golf retail Oversees customer returns/exchanges. Complete month‑end paperwork, including non‑tax forms, inventory transfers, and damage reports. What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of two years’ experience in hospitality and retail experience.
