Position SummaryWicker Point Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the club’s daily financial operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with member billing, and supporting monthly financial reporting. This is an on-site position based at Wicker Point Golf Club and is not a remote role.
Essential Duties amp; ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor paymentsReconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and daily revenue reportsAssist with member billing, collections, and account inquiriesPrepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracyAssist with month-end closing procedures and financial reportingMaintain organized accounting files and supporting documentationMonitor inventory and expense reporting for clubhouse and golf operationsCollaborate with department managers to ensure accurate coding and budgetingEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresAssist with annual audits and tax documentation preparationProvide administrative and accounting support to the Controller or Chief Financial Officer as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyExcellent communication and customer service skillsBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceHealth insurance options401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday benefitsReports ToController / Chief Financial Officer
