Floor Manager

Ptarmigan Country Club is seeking a hands-on, service-focused Floor Manager to join our team. This hourly leadership position plays a key role in the day-to-day front-of-house operations of the club's food and beverage program, supporting both à la carte dining and private events while ensuring exceptional service for our Members and guests.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading by example, developing team members, and creating a welcoming dining experience in a fast-paced club environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead front-of-house operations for both daily à la carte dining and club events, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless Member and guest experience.Supervise, coach, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff during daily operations.Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and presentation are consistently maintained throughout all dining areas.Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and other daily operational responsibilities.Address Member and guest questions or concerns promptly, professionally, and with a hospitality-first mindset.Coordinate with the culinary and events teams to ensure smooth execution of dining service, banquets, tournaments, and special events.Assist in planning, setting up, and executing private events, banquets, and Member functions while maintaining club standards.Assist with scheduling, training, onboarding, and coaching team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.Monitor labor efficiency and help maintain departmental standards and operational goals.Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant, hospitality, or private club management or supervisory experience preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer proficiency preferred.Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
