REPORTS TO: Golf Shop Manager
SCHEDULE: Seasonal (weekends and holidays required during peak season: May–September)
COMPENSATION: Hourly (overtime eligible)

Burning Tree Country Club is seeking a professional, personable, and detail-oriented Seasonal Golf Shop Attendant to support the daily operations of the Golf Shop.
This role serves as a key point of contact for Members and guests, providing exceptional service while supporting retail operations, merchandising, and communication within the Golf Department. The Golf Shop Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and elevated retail experience that reflects the standards of Burning Tree Country Club.

Who You Are
You are service-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a retail and hospitality environment. You:
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal Enjoy engaging with Members and providing a high level of service Are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Thrive in a dynamic environment with a varied schedule Take pride in presentation, organization, and attention to detail Bring prior experience in hospitality or golf operations (preferred)
As a Golf Shop Attendant, you help create a seamless and elevated Member experience within the Golf Shop.
The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)
Interact daily with Members, guests, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner Provide on-floor retail assistance and support Member purchases Assist with merchandising, organizing, and maintaining the presentation of the Golf Shop Support communication and marketing efforts related to Golf Shop merchandise and events Coordinate and prepare merchandise and gifts for tournaments, outings, and special events Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Golf Shop environment Assist Members and guests with simulator operation as needed Support daily shop operations, including phone coverage and administrative tasks

Education & Experience
The Standards (Qualifications & Professional Conduct)
Minimum 2 years of experience in the golf industry or hospitality preferred
Skills & Competencies
Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems Basic bookkeeping and recordkeeping skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with Members and staff Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours per day Ability to lift and move merchandise (5–10 pounds) Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and service environment
