Job Description
Cardinal Golf Course is looking for a dependable Small Engine & Equipment Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of golf course equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on a variety of machines and takes pride in keeping equipment running reliably.
This role can be part-time as a mechanic, or full-time for someone interested in assisting our grounds maintenance team when mechanical work is complete.
Responsibilities
· Diagnose and repair golf carts
· Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial mowers and other turf equipment
· Complete routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, blade service, lubrication, and inspections
· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
· Keep maintenance records and maintain an organized shop
· Assist the grounds crew with golf course maintenance as needed (full-time option)
Qualifications
· Experience working on small engines, golf carts, lawn equipment, agricultural equipment, or similar machinery
· Mechanical troubleshooting skills
· Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
· Valid driver's license preferred
· Welding or fabrication experience is a plus but not required

Work Location: In person
