Lead Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Lead Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bartending or serving and possess excellent customer service skills. Location: Ironbridge Bar and Grill, Glenwood Springs, CO Position Type: Year Round Compensation: $15-20/Hour, plus tips 40 hours per week Additional Income: Tipped position, event tip out. Experience: Must have bartending experience, high volume, wine, and cocktail knowledge, Responsibilities: The Bartender will report to the Floor Manager and will have the following responsibilities: Opening the bar and restaurant for service. Lunch Service during summer Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and arranging bottles. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing attentive and personalized service. Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, operating the cash register and managing a cash drawer. Monitor alcohol consumption and be proactive in identifying and addressing any potential issues or intoxication. Follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist in opening and closing duties, including reconciling cash, restocking supplies, and cleaning work areas. Work closely with servers on the floor and with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
