Schedule: 4am-12:30pm; Monday-Friday
Job Summary: Performs work of considerable difficulty in repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding automotive, grounds, and golf course equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all procedures involved in maintaining reels.Troubleshoots and overhauls light trucks, lawn care equipment, small engines, and when necessary, heavy-duty equipment.Repairs engines, transmissions, clutches, driving axles, suspension systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.May order parts and supplies required for assigned tasks.Performs normal daily clean up of work area.Performs all work in accordance with safety standards.Participate in mandatory safety training and prioritize safety throughout the workday.Performs other duties as required.Qualifications
Experience as a golf equipment mechanic.Ability to furnish a basic set of mechanic tools.Possess and maintain a valid State of Arizona Driver’s License.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge in reel grinding and reel maintenance.Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in automotive and mechanical repair.Good knowledge of the operating principles of internal combustion engines.Knowledge of welding.Skill in locating and adjusting operating problems in motorized equipment.Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment used in the trade.Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.Ability to perform heavy manual labor in rather inaccessible areas.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
