CordeValle is a premier luxury resort committed to exceptional hospitality, world-class amenities, and unforgettable guest experiences. Our racquet-sports program is growing, and we are seeking a highly skilled Tennis Instructor to join our team.
Position Overview
The Tennis Instructor provides professional tennis and pickleball instruction and guest/member engagement services in a luxury resort environment. This role supports both resort guests and club members, offering lessons, clinics, junior programs, special events, and high-level service consistent with CordeValle standards.
Essential Job Duties
• Provide private, semi-private, and group tennis and pickleball instruction for guests and members
• Lead clinics, drills, junior development programs, and special racquet-sport events
• Assist in program development, scheduling, and seasonal programming
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and service-focused environment
• Ensure courts, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained
• Promote and cultivate guest/member engagement and satisfaction
• Represent CordeValle with the highest level of professionalism and hospitality
Requirements
• Current ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) certification
• Current PPA (Professional Pickleball Association) certification
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching or coaching experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to instruct various ages and skill levels
• Professional demeanor and commitment to high service standards
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a luxury resort, private club, or high-end hospitality environment
• Additional racquet-sport certifications (USPTA, PTR, IPTPA, etc.)
• Competitive or professional playing experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and demonstrate techniques for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Work performed outdoors in various weather conditions
