Baltimore Country Club is seeking a skilled and energetic Pool Café Chef to lead culinary operations at our seasonal poolside dining venue. This role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a fast paced environment, and enjoys creating fresh, crowd pleasing dishes for Members and Guests throughout the summer season.
Tasks
Prepare and execute pool café menu items including lunch, snacks, and special eventsDevelop and maintain consistent, high-quality food standards in a high-volume settingManage daily food prep, inventory, and ordering for the pool café operationMaintain a clean, organized kitchen while upholding all food safety and sanitation standardsOversee and support culinary team members working in the pool caféAssist with themed events, holiday menus, and poolside service enhancements
Requirements
Culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen environmentExperience with casual dining, short-order cooking, or high-volume service preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in an outdoor, seasonal settingFlexible schedule including weekends and holidays during peak season
