Job Summary: The Pool House Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality short-order menu items in a fast-paced, outdoor poolside environment. This role requires strong organization, speed, and consistency while maintaining the standards of a country club dining experience. The cook will work closely with the culinary team to deliver fresh, simple, and well-executed food for members and guests during peak seasonal operations. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Prepare and cook short-order menu items including sandwiches, burgers, salads, and light fare in a timely mannerMaintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control standardsExecute high-volume service efficiently during peak pool hours and special eventsSet up and break down the pool house kitchen station dailyEnsure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are followed at all timesMaintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas, equipment, and storageMonitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to kitchen leadershipAssist with receiving, stocking, and rotating product (FIFO)Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and member satisfactionAdapt to changing menus, specials, and service demands throughout the seasonQualifications: Previous line cook or short-order cooking experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic understanding of food safety and sanitation practicesReliable, punctual, and team-orientedAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysJoin us as a Pool House Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
