Description Employment Opportunity Fox Chapel Golf Club POSITION: Golf Shop Retail Associate REPORTS TO: Tyler Smith, PGA Head Golf Professional EMPLOYMENT DESCRIPTION: Seasonal position - 30-40 hours per week availabilityMaintain a visible presence in the Golf Shop and on the sales floorPromote goodwill and exceptional hospitality to members and guestsMaintain a clean, refreshed, uncluttered, and organized Golf Shop and storage roomAssist with all aspects of special-order program including timely communication with the customerAssist with monthly inventory Update and maintain all vendor contact information when necessaryAssist with the receipt of incoming merchandise and tagging corresponding merchandiseChange mannequins and displaysLearn and understand the rules of the club to have the ability to answer the telephone to reserve tee times, lessons, and assist with tournament signups.Dress professionally and maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with staff grooming standardsOther duties as providedQUALIFICATIONS: Retail experience preferredMust possess a friendly and positive personality with a focus on building relationships with members and staffMandatory computer expertise; proficient in Microsoft Word/Publisher/PowerPoint/ExcelPossess excellent communications skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same timeBasic golf knowledge is preferredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $20.00 Per HourUniforms providedComplimentary lunch provided while on dutyGolf privileges on specific days APPLICATION PROCESS: Please submit a cover letter and resume to Tyler Smith, Head Golf Professional, via email at tsmith@foxchapelgolfclub.com, or apply through this posting on INDEED.
